The Challenge
CPM Resource Center approached Pelco with a n existing self-contained Visual Basic / Access application that they were looking to enhance and extend its capabilities.
The Solution
DVS Interactive re-developed the Clinical Practice Guide CD-ROM as a web based application which published to CD-ROM for distribution and installation. Administrators utilize back end tools for updating content on the disc - including general copy, PDF, and Word documents. Once data was finalized in the adminstration tools, the content was mastered to CD-ROM. The CD-ROM utilized an installer which uses could insall the application and access the HTML-based front end interface for searching and viewing the clinical practice guidelines contained on the CD-ROM.
