📍 Edmond, Oklahoma
Traffic and Utility Products
Pelco Products, founded in 1985 by Phil and Steve Parduhn, has grown from a small startup into a global leader in traffic and utility hardware manufacturing. The company's roots trace back to 1968 when Phil Parduhn invented the Astro-Brac, a pioneering product that laid the foundation for Pelco's ongoing innovation. Over the years, Pelco expanded rapidly, breaking ground on its Edmond, Oklahoma facility in 1987 and increasing its size multiple times throughout the 1990s to accommodate growth and specialized operations such as welding.

In 1996, it introduced ornamental lighting and doubled its facility size, then diversified in the 2000s with roadway lighting, utility products, and structural poles. Innovation continued with CopperSafe theft prevention in 2013 and advanced LED retrofit solutions by 2015, including the Astro-Brac Galaxy and IntelliCross APS. Pelco earned ISO 9001 certification and acquired Engineered Castings in 2016, underscoring its commitment to quality and industry-leading patented solutions.

Pelco announced its partnership with River Associates Investments, a longstanding lower-middle-market private equity firm in 2021. Shortly after, Pelco acquired Novax Industries and TraffiCalm Systems in 2022, expanding into intelligent traffic systems, and began strategic partnerships with Component Products and PedSafety in 2024. Pelco Products branded the Pelco Solutions family of brands in 2025, uniting industry leaders under a common goal to revolutionize traffic and safety solutions through innovation and excellence.
